TEDxYerevan program this year will feature four sessions that bring together leading thinkers and doers in their field. From art and social issues to information security our speakers will touch upon the concept of change and how they have embraced change in their life, work, or the society around them.

The host

The Conference will be hosted by Sergey Sargsyan, a stand-up comedian and a TEDxYerevan 2011 speaker. Sargsyan is also a satirical writer and the co-founder of the first Armenian political satire website news outlet, ArmComedy.com. With a Ph.D. in Philology, Sargsyan spent more than eight years in the non-profit sector working for various development project and local organizations, such as the Civilitas Foundation. His work at the United States Agency for International Development included projects on Armenia’s electoral process improvement, youth activism, and fostering dialogue between political parties and non-governmental organizations, as well as coordinating anti-corruption legal services to Armenia.
